Q6:8

Q3) Apply stuart halls reception theory to the wartime advert for women taking jobs in the defence industry.

a preferred reading could be that women are underestimated. I  can connote this by the way she is flexing her bicep and the prideful look on her face.another preferred reading is that women are needed. I see this because she is pointing directly at the target and proving that all women can be stronk. The poster also shows that she is takin the job seriously as we can see that she is putting work before her looks.

i feel like the reason that i didnt get full marks for most of my test was that i forgot most definitions under pressure.

vertical integration - when a big media company buys another company of around the same popularity

 question 6 plan:

paragraph 1:talk about how Ken Loach didn't intend that his movie was to grow big and was only to support his political opinion.

paragraph 2:we can say that i can agree as independent movies might not have  big stares like blockbusters might

then we can infer that like Ken Loach, his advertising was arlypowerful as blockbuster movies nearly as powerful as blockbusters.

finally we can conclude that they are both equal in a wayas they both share advantages annd disadvantages
