Representations

1) How is gender represented in Class - Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? Are gender stereotypes reinforced or subverted?
I feel like gender stereotypes are highly subverted in this series. A reason for this could be how the main character is a female and does many things that a 'normal' stereotyped girl would do like seek action.

2) How is age (e.g. teenagers; older people like teachers or parents) represented in Class - Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? Does the show reinforce or challenge stereotypes about young people?
I strongly feel like stereotypes on young people are subverted. This is because most people think that teens are always up to no good and irresponsible however the cast of teenagers change this by showing their responsibility through smart acts. It also subverts the stereotype that young people are not as smart as normal people. However one of the characters who is younger than everyone is also in the same class as them and finds the questions easy

3) How is race and ethnicity represented in Class - Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? Are  stereotypes reinforced or subverted?
different to the original doctor who, race i something that shows positivity like for example how people stereotype black people to be unsuccessful however the black people in this show are represented as outstanding. It is also stereotyped that Indians are only good at cricket and schoolwork however this stereotype is subverted by an Indian character who lacks in academic schoolwork but is very good in sports

4) How is sexuality represented in Class - Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? How does this reflect the BBC's remit to represent modern Britain?
Sexuality represents modern society to a huge extent, this is because now a-days, society is very accepting of sexuality and in the show there are relationships that Varey from straight to gay relationships.
