advertising work

1) What key conventions of an advert can you find and what are the connotations of each one?
The colour scheam mostly consists of red which can infer on the fact that it is a ketchup company. There is also the image of the product which is represented as sliced tomatoes. The reason they could have done this is so that they show us that their ketchup is healthy as well as organic. Also, the slogan 'no one grows ketchup like heinz'is again refering to the fact that it is organic because its 'grown'.

2) For each convention, write about how this appeals to a target audience.
This might appeal towards audiances of which might be on a diet. The reason I think this is because of the picture of the product as once again, the product is represented by tomatoes which could mean that the preffered reading is that this ketchup is not asunhealthy as others

3) What is the USP (unique selling point) of the product and how do you know?
I think that the unique selling point is that heinz is the only company that makes ketchup that good and that they are currently the best ketchup company currently
